Oyo 2019: Olatubosun Takes Outreach To Aba Panu, Olose, Ire Akari As Hausa Community Adopts Him

The standard bearer of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for Ibadan North West / South West federal constituency, Dr. Wasiu Adewale Olatubosun on Sunday took his outreach with contact and mobilization to Aba Panu, Olose, Ire Akari, Surulere and their environs. 

The congregation of the executive members and selected youths groups in about seven communities in the suburb settlement of ward 12 of Ibadan South West local government afforded him to highlight his manifesto for the election.

Mr. Adedoyin Oloko, the chairman, Olose Residents’ Association whose community’s hall hosted the meeting extolled Olatubosun for his unique approach in contacting and identifying with the various communities of the two local government areas of his jurisdiction ahead of the elections. 

Olatubosun while addressing the assembly unveiled the critical part of his plans towards human, communal, social and economic development for all and sundry if supported to represent the constituency in the next dispensation in Abuja. 

He promised to assiduously work for the development of various category of inhabitants and see to the facilitation and construction of different ameliorating infrastructures as demanded by the representatives of the various communities present at the gathering. 

He allayed fears of the habitual marginalization and revocation of election promises amongst the rootless political office holders by assuring a quarterly interactive session with his constituency people so as to feel their pulse and know where to concentrate attentions towards bettering their lots. 

Similarly, the youths in Aba Alamu have been assured of unprecedented sense of belongings in knowing the state of affairs of the legislative activities of House Representatives as affected their community in the next regime if did the needful to elect a prepared and visionary candidate. 

The pledge was made by Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun when canvassing support from the youths under auspice of Aba Alamu Youths Forum on Sunday at the community’s hall, Apata. 

At the parley which was presided over by the president of the group, Com. Babatunde Ogunyomi, Dr. Olatubosun promised to prioritize the cause of the youths in all human ramifications. 

He vowed to ensure appropriate attentions to the progress of the youths in educational, occupational and vocational schemes so as to salvage them from engaging immoral activities which may shatter their futures and plunge the society into chaos. 

Meanwhile, the Hausa Community in Ibadan South West local government under the leadership of Bature Yakubu has adopted the candidacy of Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun for the House of Representatives, Abuja in the next year general elections. 

This was announced in a communiqué read by Com. Dodos Babaginda at the special meeting of the group which was held at the popular Oluyole Estate Grammar School, Oluyole. 

The group though lamented the undeserved abandonment and desecration of its members by different political parties and elected candidates in the past. 

In his reactions, Dr. Olatubosun who was accompanied to the event by the ward 12 chairman of ADC, Mr. Dele Oyeleke , the youths leader, Arowosegbe Lukman, Femi Sanyaolu and many other executive members from the ward, commended the northern inhabitants of the council area for being prudent in their choice. 

At the meeting which ran to the odd hours of Sunday, Olatubosun therefore promised to address their demands by integrating them into numerous programs and projects being requested across all the communities by enjoining them to keep spreading the image of ADC amongst the fellow Hausas in all their settlements in the state.
