Simeon Adewale has assured that the people of Oyo federal constituency should expect great service to humanity, ouths and Women empowerment, good education and scholarship and sponsorship bills that will impact the life of the masses if he is elected to represent them.
The Awe-born accountant, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, in AFIJIO, made this known at the party’s zonal party secretariat, Owode, Oyo.
He explained that with his experience and exposure he has all it takes to slug it out with the incumbent in the primaries and win.
He said he is worried by youth unemployment which has resorted in thuggery and other social vices, adding that he is going to tackle it through enlightenment, skills acquisition programmes.
Oladele had a brief stint with Tantalizers limited as regional accountant in 2007 before his appointment with the federal government. He has since served across various Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs). From 2009 to 2011 he was an Internal Auditor with Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), National Headquarters (Kebbi State Command, Ekiti State Command, Bauchi State Command). He was later posted back to the OAGF, Treasury House in 2011 and served as Personal Assistant/Principal Private Secretary to the Accountant-General of the Federation (2011-2015).
Simeon has also worked as Principal Accountant at Federal Character Commission (FCC) and Project Auditor at Mambilla Hydro-Electric Power Project (MHEPP) under Federal Ministry of Power. His professional portfolio includes other Federal Government projects like Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS), Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) and the implementation of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
