Oyo APC Chieftain, Akinosun, Condemns Attack On Oyetola

Oyo south senatorial aspirant in the last general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Fola Akinosun has condemned the attack on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State by those he described as evil paid agents who wanted to take his life under the pretence of #EndSARS protest.

Akinosun,  who is the Otunba of Moro land, in Ile-Ife Kingdom explained that “all of us in APC including Governor Oyetola support Nigerian Youths to end SARS brutality of innocent Youths. That was why Governor Oyetola put on #EndSARS cap in order to show his displeasure on how SARS men are maltreating Nigerian Youths but these paid agents mingled with good and visionary youths in order to assassinate Governor Oyetola but they failed.”

Akinosun, who is also the Agbaakin of Iroko land, condemned the attempt Oyetola’s life, advising President Muhammadu Buhari to listen to the yearnings of Nigeria Youths.

He assured the youths of his unalloyed support in any area that will make them productive for themselves, families, Nigeria and world at large.

He asked security agents to fish out the perpetrators of this evil act to prove to the whole world that security of our citizens is still intact with the Nigeria police.

According to Akinosun, who is also the proprietor of the Foreign Links Campus, Ile-Ife, those who are privileged in the society should assist the poor, adding that “adequate education of our youths and job creation, most especially through vocational training, can reduce unemployment in Nigeria.”

He revealed that unemployment was the fundamental factor that brought about SARS unit of the Police against Nigeria youth in the first place, advising the coordinators of #EndSARS not to allow hoodlums to hijack their peaceful protest.
