The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Shina Peller, has visited Governor Seyi Makinde.
The visit, OYO INSIGHT learnt, was on the need to curb the flooding and erosion in Kajola local government.
It was learnt that a recent flooding in the area claimed lives and destroyed properties.
After receiving the report from him, Makinde assured him of appropriate action, adding that “As I have always said, we were elected to serve our people, and we should ensure that partisan politics does not trump our duty to always act in the best interest of our people.”
