Like Ayoola, Barr Adeniyi Farinto, who was chairman of Iwajowa local government between 2007 and 2011 and later represented Iwajowa state constituency between 2011 and 2015, was also asked to take a ‘bow and go’.
This was after Farintó was asked what would likely be his contribution to the judicial arm of the government by the deputy speaker but was countered by the minority leader, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape. Alarape had said that, Farinto should be accorded the privilege to take his bow and go, being a former member of the Assembly. He cited the same section of the constitution as in the case of Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola. And the motion was seconded.
