Akanbi, this newspaper understands, had dragged Alli before the court following the primaries that produced the latter.

Not satisfied with process, the Okanlomo of Ibadanland approached court to challenge what he described as kangaroo or manipulated primary which produced Alli.

He had further said that Alli didn’t reach out to other contestants after the primary to pacify them in order to accept the outcome of the primary despite its shortcomings.

Speaking on the outcome with OYOINSIGHT.COM, Alli said there was no victor, no vanquished, adding that he would continue to team up with members and other stakeholders to ensure the APC victory in the coming elections.

In a chat with Akanbi, he declined comment but one of his associates said he has the right to appeal the judgement. “The Supreme Court is the limit. My principal also has the right to work with anybody.”
