The camp of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is soaring as candidate of Accord in the 2023 National Assembly election in Oyo North, Shina Abiola Peller, would be joining the party next Thursday, 29th February, 2024.
At an elaborate event fixed for Ojúde Ọba, Iseyin, ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, would be leading top party chieftains to receive the nightlife king who represented Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, between 2019 and 2023.
Acting publicity secretary of the PDP, in a statement Wednesday afternoon, confirmed the development, adding that “Governor Seyi Makinde has made the PDP in Oyo State a bride to behold and his good works as the Governor of Oyo State has been the unique selling point for our party
“Hon. Shina Peller’s decamping into our party is the first of many this season.
“We encourage all our Party members in Oyo North to turn up massively for the rally and receive Hon. Shina Peller in the PDP Way,” he added.
