A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, has felicitated with Muslims in Oyo State and across the country on the occaion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr.
Faozey, a 2023 senatorial hopeful in Oyo central senatorial district, in a statement made available to OYOINSIGHT on Thursday morning, noted that muslims must continue to imbibe the lessons of the holy month.
“As we celebrate the completion of this year’s Ramadan, it is important for us to know that the lessons we learnt during the last thirty days must be imbibed into our everyday activities.
“This is important because the main aim of Ramadan is for us to be closer to Allah during the period of fasting and after,” Faozey said.
He added that Muslims should also use the opportunity to pray for peace and prosperity in the country
