A lawyer, Wakeel Oyeleru Oyedemi, Accord candidate in AFIJIO/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West federal constituency election, has rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
At an ongoing event in Oyo town, Oyedemi was seen embracing everyone.
Before joining Accord, Oyedemi was a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the APC.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that Oyedemi scored 13,544 at the just concluded election with the winner and first runner-up, Akeem Adeyemi and Kamil Akinlabi garnering 34,822 and 31,621 votes respectively.
This newspaper further learnt that the return of Oyedemi into the progressive fold was brokered by Alhaji Wasiu Adebisi, an Abuja-based Oyo indigene who had told him the need for everyone to come together as one.
The coming of Oyedemi into the APC will, in no small way, boost the chance of Teslim Folarin, governorship candidate of the party.
