I have carefully perused the document titled “Public Announcement” by the Hon member representing Atiba Local Government in the Oyo state House of Assembly and I see myself what damage Idleness could cause an adult mind.
I am not a Legal practitioner but I know that those in that profession would always say that hearsay evidence is equal to rubbish, fit only for the dustbin.
I could see that in that piece, Oyekola attempted, albeit unsuccessfully, to tarnish the image and cast aspersions on the personalities of certain people, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Florence Ajimobi inclusive.
We will not set so much in store for an idle mind like Gbenga Oyekola who is also the Chief Whip of the Oyo state House of Assembly.
We will not also help him broadcast his fallacies, except to say that he lacks the locus to give details of certain events which, by his release, he admitted not to be part of.
I don’t know when Gbenga Oyekola became the spokesperson for the Speaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly.
We are also surprised that Gbenga Oyekola have become a Secret Service Agent who now possess the expertise to conduct investigations.
If he hasn’t, how could someone just woke up and begin to make spurious allegations against individuals just because a meeting of the Oyo state House of Assembly held?
You did not tell us that you have the authority of the Speaker to say what you are saying.
You are not the spokesperson for the Oyo state House of Assembly.
You don’t claim to have the authority of the members of the House of Assembly to make your spurious and unsubstantiated allegations.
The Speaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly is alive, hale and hearty.
So, what is your problem?
There are more serious issues about the Government of Governor Seyi Makinde which ought to be catching the attention of the Oyo state House of Assembly.
So much loans approved by the House and another one pending.
So much neglected oversight functions.
No one is interested in the tales by moonlight released by Gbenga Oyekola and we urge him to face his constitutional responsibilities and desist from spreading unfounded allegations.
