Quoting late former South African president, Nelson Mandela, who said education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain explained that education helps a lot in shaping dreams.

”This is not the first time I will be involved in something like this. And I know there are thousands of children whose parents are poor in this our local government area. I have thought about how to put smiles on their faces but I just feel that I should start with 100 children first and as time goes on, the numbers of beneficiaries will increase. I know I can’t do it alone. That is why I am urging other well-meaning individuals to join hands to assist these little ones. We are just lucky. They also found themselves in such situation and we can’t blame God. By assisting these kids, we are fulfilling one of the tenets of the two major religions,” she added.

Asked if she is involved in the exercise because of her ambition, she said “I have even been doing this long long before I joined partisan politics. Go and ask people and they will tell you.”

She stated further that her foundation is involved in many other humanitarian services and would roll out more in the coming days.
