A political group working for the actualization of the political ambitions of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Arewa Next Step For Tinubu, (ANEST), on Thursday visited the immediate past Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Rilwan Soji Akanbi.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that the visit by the pro-Tinubu group is part of the political moves by the group to bring on board relevant stakeholders on the political scene in the country.
The group was led on the visit by its Director General, Hon. Aminu Suleiman.
Soji Akanbi, a one-time member of the House of Representatives, was a Senator under the platform of the APC between 2015 and 2019.
He left the APC in 2019, to contest his senatorial re-election bid under the platform of the African Democratic Congress.
However, he returned back to the APC immediately after the Presidential election in 2019.
