Ileya: Ilaka Congratulates Muslims, Urges Oyo Residents To Continue Upholding Love, Sacrifice

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has sent messages of goodwill to Oyo residents and Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir festival.

In his eid-kabir message, he called on Muslims across the state to live up to the highest ideals of religious beliefs, including the fear of God, selfless service, honesty, justice, equity, fairness, dutifulness, peace and harmonious co-existence with others.

He added that, this period requires more patience, fortitude, tolerance, endurance, patriotism and greater willingness to make personal sacrifice for the good of all, urging the Muslim Ummah to pray for Oyo state and Governor Seyi Makinde for God’s guidance and good health

Ilaka said everyone should use the occasion of the Sallah celebration to remember the plight of the victims of coronavirus, advised residents of Oyo State to always comply with the government directives in combating the scourge of Covid-19.
