The candidacy of Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku who is contesting for the House of Representatives, Ibadan Northwest:Southwest on the platform of Zenith Labour party(ZLP) was confirmed on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the mega rally of the party held at the ancient Mapo Hall, Ibadan.
This has laid to rest the rumour and speculations making the rounds about the authenticity of his ticket.
While presenting the flag to Ajanaku, the National Chairman of the party who led other members of the executive to the event, Chief Dan Iwuanyawu sent a stern warning to the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) to desist from threatening Ajanaku.
Responding after collecting his flag, Ajanaku appreciated the leader of Zenith Labour party and a former governor of Oyo state, High Chief Adewolu Ladoja for his consistent fatherly supports.
He also expressed gratitude to other leaders like Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, Chief Gbolahan Ajalaruru, Alhaji Abiade, the state Chairman, comrade Oyewole Abisoye and others.
Meanwhile, Ajanaku has enjoined his constituents to get their permanent voter card, as this, according to him, is the only means they can use their votes for him to alleviate their eight years suffering of poor representation.
