“I have known Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi for quite a number of years and I can confirm she is a jolly good. Years before her husband became governor, she has always been supportive. Everybody who was fortunate to have come across her knows what I am saying. Kindness is her second name. Her cancer awareness project, which birthed Access to Basic Care, ABC, Foundation, has assisted hundred of women from within and outside the state.

“The children are not left out of this kindness. The numbers of children she has adopted are still counting as she is not relenting. Her late husband was always confirming to those who care to listen that his wife was his masterpiece of nature. Though it is unfortunate we lost him, our late leader and father, Aare Abiola Ajimobi,  would be turning in his grave and laughing that he married and left behind his darling wife.

“As she reaches 62, I want to pray for her. God will continue to uphold her. She will never know a better yesterday. Though it is hard to come to terms immediately with the death of her beloved husband, I will like to urge her to see it as one of the wonders of God; He has not created those that will not die. I knew how close they were- how she called him ‘Biola and he called you Florry. I pray she lives long to be able to lead us his children and continue on the path our late leader, Aare Abiola Ajimobi laid.

“Accept my hearty congratulations Mummy. May the peace of the Lord Almighty continue to dwell with you,” Ajanaku, who is the Asiwaju Odo O’odua worldwide said.
