Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan), has felicitated the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday, today, 15 October, 2020.
Lanlehin, who represented Oyo South Senatorial District between 2011 and 2015, and was the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in the 2019 polls, described Iku Baba Yeye, as a blessing, not only to the Yoruba race, but also to humanity at large.
“Baba’s depth of knowledge, wisdom and understanding, coupled with a standard grasp of issues, separates him uniquely, from the realm of the ordinary, to that of extraordinary,” Lanlehin opined.
Stressing further, Lanlehin noted that the Yoruba race has a lot to benefit from the monarch, and a lot of lessons to learn from his life of service and devotion to worthy causes, imploring the young and old, to emulate Oba Adeyemi in the promotion of community service and advancement of the Yoruba culture and tradition.
Senator Lanlehin, therefore, wished the Alaafin, very many more years in good health and abundance, as he bestrides the Nigerian landscape like the Colossus he has become.
