Hon. Hamed Adewale Ishola, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over his installation as Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom.
Makinde, it would be recalled, had been installed on Friday by Ọba Victor Kiladejo, Osemawe of Ondo, during activities marking the monarch’s 70th birthday.
According to Ishola, who was an House of Representatives’ aspirant in Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency, the installation of Makinde as Jagunmolu attested to his numerous achievement as executive governor in less than five years.
“I want to join family, friends and well-wishers as our amiable Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde is installed in Ondo. It further confirms that the people of Oyo made the best decision to have re-elected Governor Makinde in the 2023 election. I’m confident that this will serve as a continuous source of motivation for our honored leader, inspiring even greater accomplishments in the future.
“Furthermore, I want to share in the joy of this honour. Indeed, our Governor is someone whose integrity and character stand firm, impervious to flattery. This is one of the very few chieftaincy titles and awards he has consented to. It’s truly enlightening! As they say, the more you work, the more opportunities for positive impact arise. Our state eagerly anticipates and appreciates the continued dedication of our esteemed leader as we progress even further. Your ongoing efforts are instrumental in shaping a brighter future for us all.
“I congratulate you sir, our leader. You will continue to be energized so as to continue to inject Omi Titun in all sectors of Oyo’s economy,” Ishola added.
