Today, in a move that underscores his deep commitment to party development and grassroots mobilization, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District and Gubernatorial Aspirant of Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, Ph.D., has donated an 18-seater brand new bus and a sum of 10 Million Naira to the All Progressives Congress, APC, Party Secretariat.
The donation was received with profound appreciation by the APC State Executive Council, led by the Party Chairman, His Excellency, Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Moses Alake Adeyemo, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders present at the Secretariat. The State Chairman commended Senator Alli for his unwavering loyalty to the party and his consistent efforts to strengthen its structures across Oyo State, expressing great gratitude for the gesture.
The brand new bus is expected to enhance the logistical capacity of the party, easing movement and coordination of activities ahead of crucial political engagements, while the financial support will further aid the Secretariat’s operations.
Speaking during the presentation, Senator Alli reiterated his dedication to the unity and progress of the APC. He noted that a formidable party structure remains pivotal to delivering good governance and sustainable development to the people of Oyo State. He added that the donations were made to further pronounce the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in ensuring a progressive Oyo State. He expressed gratitude to the State Executive Council and all party faithful for their warm reception and steadfast commitment to the ideals of the party.
