We’ll Make Meaningful Laws, Says Ogundoyin As He Assumes Office As Oyo Speaker

Thirty-two year old Adebo Ogundoyin, who currently represents Ibarapa East state constituency in the Oyo state House of
Assembly, has emerged as the 9th speaker of the Oyo State House of assembly.
The announcement was made on Monday, at the chamber during the innauguration of the newly elected members of the House.
In his acceptance speech, the newly speaker noted that the state house of asembly shall impact the lives of the people of the state through implementation, enactment, and promotion of the existing law.
“We shall work in tandom with the executive for the developmemt of Oyo State, Oyo State desire assembly where peace and progress reign, we are dedicated to the development of good people of Oyo State”.
He however thanked the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde for his leadership through which new dawn has come to the state, adding that it is a monumemtal responsibility of the government to make sure they rendered their service to the people of Oyo State.
Dignitraries at the event include the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, the chief of staff to the Oyo State governor, Bisi Ilaka, the Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Alhaja Amidat Agboola, former speakers and former members of the state house of assembly, traditional rulers, Chief Sharafadeen Ali, security chiefs.
