The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Atiba and Oyo state in general is in mourning mood as Alhaja Aolat Oyeniran died today.
Ajobata, as the former special assistant to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi on culture, was fondly called, died after a brief illness.
Sympathising with the family, friends and the APC family, a senatorial aspirant in Oyo central senatorial district, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has sent words of commiseration.
According to Akintunde, “For long, we have always worked together. She was one of my staunch supporters. Anywhere I go, she goes. She was special assistant to former governor Abiola Ajimobi between 2013 and 2015. We were in constant touch. It is just so sad that we lost her.
”I recall vividly her role in all my political sojourn. She won’t question my move. She would just say “where you go is the way, we know you won’t lead us astray.” She was diligent and a great political mobilizer.
”I will miss her. My political group will miss her. Her family and friends will her dearly. I want to commiserate with them family for the loss. May Allah repose her in Aljannah,” Akintunde said.
