We Must Be United — Shina Peller Meets APC Stakeholders

A federal legislator representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Shina Peller on Thursday held a quarterly feedback meeting with the leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the constituency where he enjoined them to use the party as a platform for bringing people together to serve a common purpose through shared responsibility.

The meeting, which was held in Okeho, Kajola local government area of Oyo State, also served as an avenue for Hon. Peller to give account of his stewardship as a member of the House of Representatives elected under the platform of the APC in preparation for the next Town Hall/Feedback Meeting.

In his remarks, Hon. Peller reaffirmed his total commitment towards strengthening the unity and progress of the APC and assured all that he will never allow his personal interest in politics to jeopardize peace and unity of the party as well as that of the Oke Ogun region.

In addition, he stated that the party leadership should always be willing to give every member a sense of belonging and open their progressive doors to new members who are ready to join the party. He added that doing so will enable the party to grow stronger.

Similarly, Hon. Peller seized the opportunity to inform the leaders of the party that a section of the Shina Ayo Empowerment Program (SAEP) Farm along Iseyin/Ibadan road earmarked for poultry has commenced operation with employment of a number of the constituents as staff.

Furthermore, he noted that as part of his efforts towards empowering the people and making them economically viable, he has successfully facilitated some trainings which included Community Support Fisheries Training Programme, Vocational Skills Development Training on Cosmetology, with a number of constituents getting empowered with start-up capital after the training.

Also, Hon. Peller added that he has facilitated construction of blocks of classrooms in some public schools at Okeho in Kajola local government and Otu in Itesiwaju local government, whilst he hinted that the construction of another block of classrooms will soon commence at Iganna Community Grammar School, Iganna in Iwajowa local government.

Moreover, he also notified them of his motions and bills on the floor of the House which have passed through different stages and assured them of his total commitment towards pushing for the bills to pass through all stages and become laws as soon as possible.
