Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan), has felicitated Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir, congratulating them on witnessing the landmark Islamic festivity, yet again, in the land of the living;
Lanlehin, in a celebratory message from his Media Bureau, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, specifically urged Muslims to remain eternally grateful to Almighty Allah for the gift of life, and the grace to be alive, while being hopeful, of better days, which surely lie ahead;
“Not minding the current realities, we should as a mark of appreciation remain thankful to Almighty Allah, the most merciful, the most beneficient, as we prayerfully hope, for a turnaround in the fortunes of our state, and country, Nigeria,” Lanlehin added;
Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan), who then called on Muslims, and even Christians, to continually pray for the peace, progress and prosperity of Nigeria, and Oyo State, admitted that with their prayers, and the hard work Nigerians were already reputed for, the good times will definitely return;
Senator Lanlehin then extended his Eid-el Kabir greetings to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdulganiyu Adekunle Salawu, Ologunebi Ajinase I, Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi, Ilugbemidepo Oyedepo III, and all monarchs in Oyo State;
In the same vein, the former Oyo South Senator felicitated the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniyy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alh Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State, Mogajis, Baales, Ulamas, Muslims, and all residents of Oyo State, on this year’s Eid-el Kabir, praying Almighty Allah to bless and keep them all, in good health and abundant wealth, to witness many more, here on earth, as they reap the blessings of obedience and sacrifice which the festivity connotes, here and in the hereafter.
