A former Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi In Monday August 24 visited Oyo town.
He was welcomed into the town by elders in the progressive wing of party politics in the town.
88-year-old Pa Samuel Akin Ojebode, one of the elders appreciated the visit and mission to reunite the progressive family in the state.
He advised the former lawmaker not to relent on his mission noting that his patience overtime despite the challenges over the years is commendable.
Similarly, Alhaji Lasisi Ayanyinka Ayankojo, lauded the Senator’s mission and undying love for the party .
According to the former lawmaker, the visit was not based on personal ambition rather it was in a bid to seek elders’ advise on the way to get the party back on track.
