Senate Confirms Olowofela As Member Of Federal Character Commission

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has confirmed the nomination of Professor Adeniyi Olowofela as a member of the Federal Character Commission.

The nomination of Olowofela, a former Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology in Oyo State, was confirmed at the plenary of the senate on Tuesday.

OYOINSIGHT had earlier reported how Professor Olowofela was nominated to represent Oyo state as a member of the Federal Character Commission by President Muhammadu Buhari.

All nominees by the President, except Daniel James Kolo from Kwara State (the deceased), were confirmed during today’s plenary.

Olowofela was the Federal House Of Representatives Candidate for Ibarapa East Ido Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress during the 2019 general election
