A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Hon. Afeez Bolaji Repete, has congratulated Mr. Gbenga Olayemi on his emergence as the party’s new Deputy National Auditor.
Olayemi, popularly known as Ariba, emerged as the party’s Deputy National Auditor at the national convention in Abuja on Friday.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday morning, Repete, described Ariba’s emergence as a positive one for the party’s national image.
Repete, who once served in the party’s national executive council as National Deputy Youth Leader,, noted that the executive council will benefit from Ariba’s expertise.
“The emergence of my good brother and political leader, Gbenga Olayemi is a welcome development by every measure.
“I can’t think of a better person for the role at the moment. Ariba brings a perfect blend of both the professional competence required for this office and commitment to the progressive ideals of our great party.
“I pray the Almighty grant him the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to deliver on the mandate of his new office,” Repete’s statement read in part.
