Alamu added that the governor has also okayed the conversion of civil servants who have acquired additional qualifications and are willing to convert to teaching.

He noted that PTA teachers will also be considered in the ongoing recruitment.

The TESCOM boss disclosed that some zones have completed the computerization of the data of the applicants while others will complete theirs on or before this week Frida GCy.

He added that the TESCOM headquarters, located at Secretariat, Ibadan, had received 64 thousand applications and all the applicants’ data have been computerized.

Alamu, who is leaving no stone unturned, debunked reports flying round that any form not obtained at the TESCOM offices, would be stamped out. The TESCOM boss maintained that both the forms collected at the TESCOM offices across the state and those printed online, would be given equal attention.

He, however, hinted that the computer-based test exercise to screen the applicants will come up before the end of this month. And that TESCOM would be transparent in the examination process.
