RAMADAN 2023: Remember Nigeria In Prayers — Fatai Buhari

    As 2023 Holy Month of Ramadan begins tomorrow, 23rd March, 2023, Muslims have been admonished to commit their times to praying for Nigeria governments at all levels so that the new set of leaders can take the country to an enviabke height.

    The above was contained in a release issued by Senator Buhari to congratulate the Muslims in Oyo North Senatorial District, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole on the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, full of God’s favour and blessing.

    According to the release, Senator Buhari identified Ramadan as a unique month and period when all the living souls irrespective of religious beliefs will be closer to their Creator and shun all forms of evil deeds.

    He said “Ramadan has brought mercy of Allah to the universe and so Muslims are enjoined to not only be closer to God by worshipping Him days and nights but also commit certain period daily to praying for Nigeria especially under the leadership of The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that will be sworn-in on 29th May, 2023.”

    Senator Buhari called on constituents in Oyo North to show love and affection to one another as the Holy month begins so that it can further foster peace and unity during and after the fasting period.

    “With Prayers, all things are possible. My constituents are urged to move closer to God and pray fervently for us as their servants in government cycle of the nation so that the motive behind their renewed mandates can be achieved.

    “Please do not forget our Leader, President-elect, Asiwaju Tinubu, all the Members of National Assembly, State Governors and Members of House of Assemblies so that they will divinely guided in their programmes, projects and policies that will make the country stronger, peaceful and developed,” Senator Buhari appealed .

    The lawmaker prayed onto Allah to accept all the activities of Muslims in the Holy Month as acts of Ibadah and reward them bountifully here on the surface of earth and above all on the day of accountability.
