The Executive Chairman of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, Prince Dotun Oyelade said his coming to BCOS will enhance staff career development rather than hamper it.
Oyelade made the clarification on Monday 22nd July 2019, at his maiden general meeting with members of staff of the BCOS.
The Executive Chairman maintained that the purpose of his coming back to BCOS was to reposition the media outfit so as be at par with her competitors.
Prince Oyelade said the coverage area of the BCOS would be improved upon, such that the TV and Radio signals will cover the entire State very soon.
He said both the TV and the Radio channels are currently operating at barely 10 per cent of their potentials and the state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has given the mandate for a total turn around of the Corporation.
The Executive Chairman promised to run an open door policy, adding that observations, ideas and suggestions are welcomed from staff members.
During the interactive session, members of staff enumerated some of the challenges facing the media organization as well as their expectations from the State government.
