Following the inability of Ibadan soccer lords, Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, to gain promotion to the elite Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, the trio of its general manager, Rasheed Balogun; team manager Dimeji Lawal and head coach Edith Agoye have resigned their appointments.
This came few hours after they missed promotion following a 3-0 defeat they suffered in the hands of Akwa Starlets in the Nigeria National League playoff today.
While the duo of Lawal and Balogun have confirmed their resignations, Agoye said he was still consulting.
3SC, OYO INSIGHT understands, had qualified for the playoff having topped its group in the just concluded abridged NNL league.
It would be recalled that 3SC was relegated in 2017. The club will be spending its third season in the NNL.
