Adedapo Lam-Adesina, who represented Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019, today paid a condolence visit to one of his supporters, Mrs Deborah who lost her husband and son few weeks ago.
Deborah, a strong member of the Omo Oloore Movement who resides at Idi Aka area, Ward 8 of Ibadan North East local government lost both the husband and son days apart.
Lam-Adesina who expressed his heartfelt condolences to the entire family, urged them “to be strong as this moment is indeed a trying one for them.”
According to him, “Family is indeed a bond that everyone will always want to sustain. What happened is beyond human comprehension and I empathize with you.
We can’t blame God for this for only Him knows better. I will only urge the entire members of the family at this trying time to be strong. May the departed souls Rest In Peace”.
He was also at the Ehin Grammar community behind Ibadan Grammar School in Ibadan South East Local government where an inferno claimed three lives.
The fire incident, which started around 1.00am on Friday, took the lives of three children of the same parents.
Lam-Adesina, while speaking with the leaders and members of the community urged them all to be extra cautious during the harmattan period and beyond.
“I commiserate with the victims and entire members of this community on this sad incident and I pray that this would be the last,” he said.
He donated fire extinguishing balls to the community and also promised to join others in the rehabilitation of the victims of the sad incident.
