To the surprise of many, a former lawmaker and son of former governor Lamidi Adesina, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina, yesterday attended the commissioning of building named political headquarters by governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in March 9, 2019 election.
The young Lam-Adesina, had defected from the APC to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to seek re-election in the build up to the last general election. The lawmaker, who was commissioner between 2011 and 2015 Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency from 2015 to 2019.
At the commissioning of the edifice located inside the serene Jericho GRA and coincided with the 49th birthday of the immediate past deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, were top politicians, especially those of the APC.
Asked to make a brief remark, Lam-Adesina said that though he remains a member of the ADC, “I have come to celebrate with my Egbon on his birthday.”
