Mrs Florence Ajimobi, wife of the outgoing governor Abiola Ajimobi, has bought motorcycles for the use of the Hausa communities in all the LGAs and LCDAs of the Okeogun zone.
The presentation was made during a stakeholders’ meeting of traditional rulers, students, community leaders and ethnic groups at Saki township hall when the All Progressives Congress campaign, berthed n Saki, on Thursday.
Her husband who presented the motorcycles to the Seriki Arewa of Saki, Alhaji Ibrahim Sanusi, solicited the support of the Arewa communities in Oke Ogun for President Muhammadu Buhari as well as other candidates of the APC in the forthcoming general election.
Aligning himself with what he called the ongoing permutations, the governor said that he was confident that a massive vote for President Buhari in the Northwest and Southwest would boost his chances of getting re-elected.
Reeling out what he called the unassailable achievements of the APC at all levels in the last four years, he called on the people to vote for only the party’s candidates to enhance the country’s socioeconomic development.
The governor said that he would spare no effort to ensure the completion of the dual-carriage Saki township road that stretched from Oke Ogun Polytechnic to Ilesa-Ibariba road before the end of his tenure.
