The campaign train of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, governorship candidate, Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin, berthed at the home of late former governor Lamidi Adesina’s Felele residence where prayers were held for a successful outing in the coming 2019 governorship poll.
Lanlehin was on a campaign tour of Ibadan North East / South East federal constituency which the son of the late former governor, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina, represents.
OYO INSIGHT recalls how late Lam-Adesina wanted Lanlehin to secure the then Action Congress, AC, governorship ticket, before the national leadership of the party prevailed on him to support them Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, who is completing his second term in office. Lanlehin was offered the senatorial ticket of Oyo South.
After leaving Lam Adesina’s Felele residence, the train moved through Molete to Kudeti, Oke Oluokun, Odo Oba, Odinjo and environs.
