PDP Camp In Jubilation Mood As Ex-gov Ajimobi’s Aides, Others Join Tegbe

    The ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo state received a boost as notable politicians and professionals who served in various capacities during the Ajimobi government have joined Mógaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe in the PDP

    Tegbe, a management consultant and the Senatorial candidate of the PDP in the Oyo South Senatorial District. Many members of the APC and other parties have since joined the PDP to support Tegbe and actualize the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde.

    The officials, who declared their support during a solidarity visit to the Bódìjà residence of the Ibadan Mogaji, noted that their decision was based on the competence of Tegbe, and their belief in his capacity to provide excellent representation for the people of Oyo South Senatorial District.

    Prominent among aides of Late Governor Ajimobi who recently joined Tegbe in PDP are Alh Dọtun Olaoye, ACP Kunle Aro-Fadaka rtd. (SSA Security) , Dr Wale Sadiq (SSA Media), Deaconess Esther Adedokun (SSA Political), Hon Kayode Bamiduro, Hon G. Latunji, Kayode Bamiduro (SA Political), Hon Sola Adegoke, Alh Yisau Azeez, Engr Olubayo Kuye, Hon Kayode Adeosun, Hon Alabi Aderibigbe, Hon Adebayo Adegoke (former Chairman IB North LG).

    In their separate remarks, they noted that Oyo APC has presently constituted has lost her progressivism as its leadership is now populated by staunch conservatives. They affirmed they were leaving APC with their supporters across the state to support the Senatorial ambition of Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe and the re-election bid of Governor Seyi Makinde.

    In his response, Mogaji Tegbe thanked the leaders for their confidence in him. He assured them that their welfare and that of their teeming supporters would remain paramount to him.
