Governor Seyi Makinde Tuesday afternoon sent packing commissioners and other political appointees, effective from June. 30, 2021.
The governor directed the former cabinet members to hand over to the most senior officers in their respective ministries.
The decision, OYOINSIGHT.COM gathered, was conveyed to them shortly after the Excos meeting.
Sources told this newspaper that some of them were removing their personal effects from their various offices as at the time of filing this report.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had hinted last week how Makinde had planned to relieve them.
Though details were still sketchy as at press time, the governor was said to have dissatisfied with the performances of some of them, while others did not do well on terms of relating with their people.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that almost 7 of the commissioners may not return.
