Oyo ADC Assembly Aspirant Urges Makinde To Consider Coalition Party Members

African Democratic Congress, ADC, house of assembly aspirant for Ibarapa East state constituency, TPL Samuel Adesokan, has called on the Governor Seyi Makinde to spread the benefit of his governance to all nook and crannies of the state without sidelining any part based on political party differences.
Adesokan noted that the members of the ADC in the Ibarapa East local government have not been considered for any substantial position in respect to the sharing formula for coalescing political parties.
According to him, “For now, we have not really seen the benefit of the coalition in our constituency, but since many offices are not yet fully occupied, other things can still come in, which we believe our leaders are really working on.
“Ibarapa East deserves more than what we have on ground,  and we are expecting more, probably at the forthcoming local government election In Oyo state, we believe our governor is a man of his word, and will fulfill all his promises”.
OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls that the governorship candidate of the ADC, Labour Party, Zenith Labour Party and the Social Democratic Party had joined hands with Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to defeat Oloye Bayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state.
He also advised the lawmaker  representing his state constituency who doubles as the speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, to meet and identify with other aspirants in the constituency to share ideas on ways to develop the Ibarapa axis of the state.
Adesokan is a native of Lanlate and one of the ten aspirants that stepped down for Mr. Mark Olumuyiwa to emerge the ADC candidate. He is the 1st Vice President of the National Institute of Town Planners, Oyo state Chapter.
