The All Progressives Congress, APC, and African Democratic Congress, ADC, have suspended their campaign rallies fixed for today and tomorrow respectively.

The APC campaign tour of Ogbomosoland had earlier been rescheduled for today before it was postponed till after the presidential and National Assembly elections which hold February 16th, 2019.

OYO INSIGHT recall that the party had earlier fixed last Monday for the rally before it was rescheduled due to Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s official engagement.

This newspaper learnt that the party had staged rallies in other zones, except Ogbomoso.

In the same vein, the final campaign of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, earlier fixed for tomorrow, 14th February, 2019, has been postponed.

POSTPONEMENT OF THURSDAY’S FINAL CAMPAIGN RALLY

I write, on behalf of the Handshake Campaign Organisation (HANCO), official handlers of Senator Olufemi Lanlehin’s governorship bid, to inform that the final campaign rally earlier fixed for Thursday, 14 February, 2019, at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, has been postponed indefinitely.

This postponement is anchored on the need to afford our National Assembly candidates the opportunity to put finishing touches to their campaigns, plans and programmes, as well as concentrate more on mobilisation strategies, for that very important election billed for 16 February, 2019.

Since the importance of that election to us all cannot be overemphasized, we urge every committed member of our party to put in maximum efforts to ensure all round success for all our candidates. We, consequently, wish them resounding victory.

A new date for the final campaign rally will be announced in due course.
