One Year After, Sunday Dare Named Third Best Minister

A year after his appointment as Minister of Youth and Sports development by President Muhammad Buhari, Sunday Dare has been named the third best performing minister in the country.

In an interim scorecard released by Transparency watch, Dare came third behind the Minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development Saddiya Farouq and minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi.

His emergence as one of the top three most performing ministers is quite surprising because the ministry of Youth and Sport has one of lowest budget in the country.

Among the top three minustries, the ministry of transportation gets 560 billion as yearly budgetary allocation while the ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development is on 420 billion naira budgetary allocation yearly.

However, the Sport Ministry has a N2.7 billion budgetary allocation .
