For emerging leaders in Nigeria and beyond, former deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, has said that they need to study Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s trajectory.

Saying that he shares in the joy of the birthday of the former Lagos governor, Olaniyan said Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria‘s leader wasn’t only dint of hardwork but by God’s grace.

”I like to congratulate our leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as he celebrates yet another birthday. We are grateful to the almighty God for being alive to see this day. We are happy to share in the everything he has been able to achieve. This is a man who likes to thread where his peers wouldn’t try to go.

“The history of how opposition rose to defeat an incumbent will not be written without an ample mention of the Asiwaju of Lagos. From just himself in 2003, he rallied round human and material resources and today we are talking about the APC administration.

“Those coming after us have a lot to learn from this enigma who has etched his name in the history of the country. He is, indeed, the last man standing who rose to this height. For someone who contested election last in 2003 before 2023; someone who has built leaders who have in turn built another generation of leaders, he deserves all the accolades. I join others to congratulate him,” Olaniyan added.
