The Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr. Sunday Dare has said swift action is needed to apprehend the culprit in the killing of the young child in Ogbomoso on Thursday.
Th Minister demanded that the Governor and the police should quickly investigate this brutal killing by a yet to be apprehended motorist.
Mr. Dare said the tragic incident should not be an argument about the Governor’s convoy, but to establish the circumstances that led to the loss of the precious life to forestall future occurrence.
He noted that in Ogbomoso or anywhere in Oyo state, the Governor and the police have the responsibility to unravel the circumstances of the incident and ensure that the culprit is brought to justice.
The Minister lamented the loss of another life in Ogbomoso at a time like this and assured that he will ensure that justice is served.
He sympathized with the family of the child while urging for calm.
