The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Oyo State Command Agro Ranger Squad has arrested a 34-year-old welder, Mr. Bashiru Bello
Mr. Bello was arrested on Thursday at Ikoyi-Ile Ogbomosho town where he was caught looting transformer cables.
While parading the suspect today at the state command headquarters Agodi, Ibadan, Mr. Iskilu Akinsanya disclosed that Bashiru Bello was caught vandalizing a transformer at Ikoyi-ile on the 24th and the Agro Ranger Squad tracked him until his eventual arrest.
Items recovered from the susspect at time of his arrest includes armoured cable,rench,glove,hack-saw,range.
The Commandant later commended residents of the State for providing timely information to the corps in other to curb criminality. He also assured the good people of the State of more adequate security collaboration with other agencies.
He added that the suspect will be charge to court as soon as Investigation is concluded
