NCC Chair, Adeolu Akande, Becomes Lawyer 23 Years After Bagging Ph.D

Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, Prof. Adeolu Akande, has been called to the Nigerian Bar.

This was after graduating from the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.

Akande, who was once chairman of the Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, bagged his Ph.D in political science at 32, in 1997 at the University of Ibadan where he had initially undergone his bachelor and master’s degrees in the same field.

The former chief of staff to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi began his journey to becoming a lawyer in 2016.

To celebrate the day with Akande were his wife, Mrs. Modupe Adeolu-Akande, his friends Mr. Niyi Oyekunle and Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Barr. Dayo Ajibola and others.
