According to the chief coordinator and spokesperson for the Adewale Ishola Group, Alhaji Kamar ‘Komo’ Tiamiyu who was present at a stakeholders’ meeting in Egbeda on March 14, 2023, “our leader Adewale Ishola has spoken and we believe in his leadership. In addition, we have continued to assess the incumbent government and it is safe to state that Governor Seyi Makinde has changed the narrative for the better in Oyo State and that is why it is a must for us to ensure the victory of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde at the polls.
“In Oyo State, the masses love Seyi Makinde. The politicians that do not believe in putting the people first are the ones who are against the re-election of Governor Makinde. However, we are not bothered, GSM is God-sent and he will continue to do God’s work in Oyo State as our Governor until 2027. The masses have witnessed the development that the current administration has brought to manifestation in Oyo State, which is one of the key factors for supporting GSM,” the statement added.
