In fulfilment of his electoral campaign promises,Oyo state government under Governor Seyi Makinde would continue to distribute dividend of democracy to boost socio-economic activities of the citizenry across the state.
The state Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Temilolu Seun Ashamu stated this while commissioning various electricity projects in some parts of the state.
The Commissioner also recently inspected electricity projects in Molade Aremo, Anifalaje area,Air force Comprehensive School Ibadan and Awotan street light project in Apete area of Ido Local Government, Oyo state.
Addressing the people during the commissioning and inspection of some electricity projects,Oyo State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources Barrister Temilolu Seun Ashamu said Governor Seyi Makinde had graciously approved the light up projects across Oyo state to boost socio- economic activities.
He advised the people to take proper care of the facilities to ensure their durability.
The Commissioner thanked the people for supporting Governor Seyi Makinde led administration in Oyo state pledging the support of government towards ensuring better life for the people.
Ashamu eulogized Makinde for fulfilling his electoral campaign promises notiing with delight that the light-up project would go a long way in moving Oyo state forward.
The Commissioner promised that all the ongoing electricity projects being inspected would be commissioned in due course.
He said people should expect more dividend of democracy from Governor Seyi Makinde who vision and mission was to leave Oyo state better then he met it.
It would be recalled that the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources had this year commissioned Ten kilowatts solar power facility at Idi Ogungun primary health care center in Ibadan North local Government are of Oyo state,10kw solar facility at Kolobo primary health center Oyo town respectively, Completed Awe Energy facility at the Rural Community Development center Oyo town, the 132/133/11/kva substation,while another one hundred Transformer s and cables to power street light had been delivered through the approval of Oyo state government led by Makinde.
