Ahead of the 27th April, 2024 local government elections in Oyo State, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, has supported the All Progressives Congress ( APC)candidates and party leaders in Oyo North Senatorial District with a whopping sun of Twenty Five Million Naira (#25,000,000:00
The event which had in attendance all the 13 Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates, 134 councillors, all party chairmen and party secretaries in the 13 local governments of Oyo North Senatorial District and party leaders , took place at his residence at High School area, Ogbomoso, today Tuesday 23rd April, 2024 .
The fund aimed at enhancing the campaign efforts of our party and its candidates was distributed as follows:
1. 13 Chairmanship Candidates: N500,000 each
2. 13 Vice Chairmanship Candidates: N100,000 each
3. 134 Councillorship Candidates: N100,000 each
4. 13 LG Party Leadership: N250,000 each
5. Oyo North Senatorial Executives and party leaders: N500,000.
According to the Chairman, Senate Committee On Aviation And Aerospace Development,
“With this support, it is my belief that our candidates are better equipped to articulate their vision and engage with our people in their bids to provide qualitative representation at the grassroots”
The local government elections in Oyo State will come up on Saturday 27th April, 2024 and it is hoped that the masses will support and vote for APC candidates so that the local governments, which is the closet to the people, could be revitalized for the betterment of the people.
