A former deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr. Raufu Olaniyan, has congratulated a senior advocate of Nigeria, Ahmed Raji as he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters (D. Litt) by the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
The Iseyin-born philanthropist was honored Tuesday.
Olaniyan, who hails from Igboho, headquarters of Orelope local government in a personally signed statement, said the legal luminary deserves the honour, adding that he was glad to share in the joy.
“I am proud to join in celebrating your achievements. That you are honoured today is a testament to your philanthropic gesture. This honour, I know, will spur you to do more.
”I wholeheartedly congratulate you on this honour and I pray God preserves you more for humanity. Congratulations to a shinning light,” Olaniyan added.
