The leadership of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has written to inform the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that an erstwhile chairman of Iseyin local government, Hon. Saheed Adejare, is the running mate to its gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin.
OYO INSIGHT had reported how jubilations greeted the announcement of Alaran, as Adejare is popularly called, as the deputy governorship candidate.
Alaran’s name and that of Dr. Dele Ajadi, the party’s national secretary, had been filled as tentative governorship and deputy governorship candidate.
In a letter dated 19th November, 2019 and signed by the party’s national chairman, Chief Ralphs Nwosu, said all documents to back Alaran’s nomination has been effected and submitted appropriately to the commission.
