Former Kano State governor, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Kwankwaso, who, OYO INSIGHT learnt, came with some of his aides, came yesterday’s afternoon (12th July, 2018).
He visited the Ondo Street, Bodija residence of former governor Rashidi Ladoja
Though details of their meeting was sketchy as at the time of filing this report, OYO INSIGHT learnt that Kwankwaso has scheduled meetings with other political leaders from neighbouring states.
Kwankwaso, OYO INSIGHT recalled, is not in good terms with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, as he boycotted the congress of the party.
He and his estranged former deputy, now governor, Dr Umar Ganduje are at war with each other.
On the day the APC was holding its national convention, Kwankwaso was pictured at a meeting with former vice president and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Abuja.
Only recently, former governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Olusegun Mimiko of Osun and Ondo States respectively visited Ladoja, who is the leader of the PDP in the state, on the need to join the newly formed African Democratic Party, ADP and Labour Party, LP.
