CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON RT. HON. OLATUNJI KEHINDE AYOOLA BY ASSEMBLAGE OF PARLIAMENTARIANS, OYO STATE.

It was with heavy hearts and deep sense of sorrow and loss that the members of Assemblage of parliamentarians, Oyo state, received the news of the passing away to glory, of our colleague and brother, Right honourable Olatunji Kehinde Ayoola in the early hours of Thursday, the 14th of May, 2020.

Right honourable Kehinde Ayoola, who until his death was the honourable commissioner for environment and natural resources in Oyo state, was a grass root politician with the interest of the common man usually uppermost in his heart.

This was exemplified by his numerous contributions to the state and his constituency of Oyo East and West both as the Speaker and member in the 4th Assembly.

Right Honourable Ayoola was a fine gentleman, respectful and a politician with finesse. He was indeed humility personified. He was an intelligent, courageous, committed and loyal politician who can stake his precious life for whatever he believed in. This he manifested in his pursuit of Omituntun project both as director general and deputy director general of Seyi Makinde campaign organization in 2015 and 2019 respectively, which ideal eventually heralded the ruling party and government in Oyo state.

His membership and valuable contributions to our association will be greatly missed by all.

Throughout his foray into the murky waters of Nigeria politics, we can attest to the facts that Right honourable Kehinde Ayoola never soiled his hands nor played politics with bitterness. He was indeed man of the people! We therefore take solace in the fact that he lived a good and exemplary life worthy of emulation.

On this note, we hereby condole with his wife, Professor (Mrs) Olukemi Ayoola, the children, other family members, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, his colleagues both in government and out of government, well wishers as well as the good people of Oyo town and Oyo state over his death.
We pray that Almighty God stand by and uphold those he left behind, especially his immediate family, and grant us all the fortitude and grace to bear this irreparable loss.

Adieu Right Honourable Kehinde Ayoola till we meet to part no more.

For the Assemblage of Parliamentarians, Oyo State:
