The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Mr. Sunday Dare on Friday paid a coutesy visit to the immediate past Minister of Communucations, Barrister Adebayo Shuttu.
The visit to Shittu’s office in Abuja, OYOINSIGHT gathered, is part of ongoing efforts to reconcile the party in Oyo State.
Confirming the visit to this newspaper, Sunday Dare wrote, “It was just a courtesy visit. A follow up to Thursday’s meeting of Apc party leaders unity to work for the party.”
OYOINSIGHT recalls that Sunday Dare’s appointment as a Minister by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 was at the expense of Shittu, who was dropped after heading the Communications Ministry for four years .
The decision by the President to pick Sunday Dare ahead of Shittu in 2019 did not go down well with the Saki-born politician who said he was disappointed .
